In this model, patients who sign up to see me as their primary care physician, the one who handles 80% of their health care needs, pay a monthly fee and are able to schedule appointments whenever needed.<\/p>\n<p>The Direct Care Model eliminates the overhead and bureaucracy involved with accepting insurance. Patients who choose me their care provider will have longer visits, and I will have more time to practice the kind of medicine that everyone deserves and desires.
